Evaluate Server Rack for a Battery Backup

By deerek11 ·
Hello all, can someone point me in the direction of finding a way to evaluate my server rack to see how much power I am pulling now and to purchase a battery back UPS for every thing in the rack. This is what I have in the rack as of now.

A bit more info here wouldn't go astray as well what do you want a USP for continuous power when you suffer a power outage or just long enough to shut down when you suffer a Power Outage.

Either way because this is a power hungry setup and I'm in the wrong part of the world so what figures I would state will be wrong for you with 110 V you are better off getting in a professional UPS Provider to meet your needs. Of course the longer that you want these to run the bigger the UPS will need to be.

go to www.apc.com and use the calculator. you can poluplate a rack and the calculator will tell you which of the APC battery backups is best for your app. you do not have to buy to use and once you have specs for the APC unit you can find an equivalenty from another vendor. BTW, I use APC because they are cost effective and do not lock you in to their equipment by creating incompatibilities.
