So you skip out, you turn up drunk,m you smoke a few joints in class, you turn up and leave as you choose, you listen to your iPod all day and draw pictures of naked women on your textbooks and guess what? You get a 50% passing grade!
Yes, it seems some schools feel it is wrong to fail a child and while some schools have long implemented a 50% ‘E’ rule to replace the horrible failing F, this school has decided there will be no failing grades. uhhhhh, now when I went to school…..oh whatever.

Yeah, I think this whole positive reinforcement things has gone too far, we coddle our children, don’ tlet them play outside in teh evening (don’t FORCE them to get otuside in the evening), we drive them all over the planet instead of telling them to walk, ride abike or take a bus, we encourage ‘everyone wins’ rules for junior sporting events (no score is kept, just a friendly game of soccer or baseball and ‘everyone wins’)and now we won’t let them fail in school.
I can just see the grads of tomorrow, being dropped off at school, wrapped in bubble wrap and packed into the passenger seat with pillows so we don’t break our fragile children.
These are the people who we will trust to live in a competitive world, a hard world, a world of wars, religious zealots and terrorism?
I suppose we should let them know what the world is really like one day though.
But I suppose its not too new, Bush was given a C in school too. ZINGER! badum-dum.! 😀
