Event error ID-6008 in windows 2000

Can anyone tell me how to solve the error message in windows 2000 server. In the event viewer the error comes like “The previous system shutdown at time and date was unexpected” this particular error comes many times for the last couple of days in our server. I tried hotfix from microsoft but still problem is same then, i tried to solve myself went to my computer right clicked -system properties-Advanced and removed the sutdown option but still the problem is same.
