After a recent reboot, we receive constant application event codes. They are :
Directory Export Started – Event ID 41
Directory Export Completed – Event ID 38
The are both relating to MSExchangeDSExp and they are only information messages. We have a site connector to another building’s Exchange server and have recently upgraded our NT4 Domain controller to 2000 (it’s a different box than Exchange).
These are occurring every five minutes (both display at the five minute mark) and lasta fraction of a second. It isn’t affecting users or Exchange from what I can tell, but I want to know what it is, if I should stop it and how.
