Win NT4.0 Small network using Proxy 2.0. Installed a DSL,external modem,In the server I have two nics, one for my intranet, static address, the other connected to the DSL. I get a tcp/ip address using pppoe, If you do a ipconfig, you get the static address and the pppoe address, but nothing for the nic connected to the DSL connection. So the event viewer keeps filling up with requests from that nic trying to obtain an address.
Any Ideas to keep that nic from polling for an address?
