Event viewer.

1) Is there any problem if the events in the event viewer is cleared?.
2) Will the event viewer events consume the hard drive space?

You can safely clear events so long as you no longer need to verify prior events.
The log will take hard drive space, but you can define options.

1) Unless you wish to maintain a running log of events, you should not experience any problems if you clear the Event Viewer periodically.
I prefer to keep Event Viewer entries in order to periodically review what is going on in my machine, at least to the extent that is possible via Event Viewer.

2) Yes, these entries consume hard drive space. How much, I do not know.
