I have had this before and what was happening was that the Application log had almost 4000 events in it but none of then would show (hit the refresh button and it would show the number of events but not the events themselves). If I went to the Security events it would say 0 events until I het the Refresh button and then it would display about 200 of these events. If I then went to the System events it would say 0 events until I het the Refresh button and then it would display about 700 System events.

To resolve the problem I cleared all events from the Application area (I could not view them and did not export them to a log file but I suppose you could if you are interested). After clearing the Application events the Security and System events logs showed up normally when I clicked on those tabs.

I don't know if I reached a limit or the Application event log was corrupted but look for the event log that shows any number of events after you refresh the list but does not display the events. Clear that log and you should be able to view the other logs normally.

Cheers.

RW : Thanks for the tip, and although you were right about refreshing would show some events. My System and security logs still do not show up. Second, I never had to refresh before which is the part that is unusual. I am a person who likes to know why things happen and this is really crucial because I usually rely on event viewer to help me out with any type of errors :)

Dude. Clear the log file out (save to file if you wish). It's getting too big. This should be done on a regular basis.

Have you checked to ensure that there is no filter set in event viewer that would hide your entries?
