Ex2k-Log files not flushed after backup

by joshua1 . Updated 25 years, 1 month ago

I’m running Exchange 2000, using Microsoft Backup. Circular logging is disabled. I perform nightly, normal backups. According to all the documentation I’ve seen, a Normal backup should cause the log files to be removed after the backup has changed the archive bit.

The log files continually eat up all my disk. My understanding is that the logs are automatically flushed after the backup. Why do the exist? thanks.
