I know that I haven’t been active lately and I know that has to change.
And it will- after the 21st.
Exactly one week from this second, I will be getting all my stuff
together, getting a hot shower, making last minute phone calls and
making an emergency run for more ibuprofen… just in case. The
truck will be decorated (and washed first), clothing and such laid out
for the next morning, and hopefully, I will get some sleep.
I have only seven days to make up for missed training and do all the
stuff I haven’t yet done to get ready for the boldest walk against
breast cancer. 60 miles may just hurt this year.
Anyone who wishes to make a donation may go to my website. You
can find it here: http://08.the3day.org/goto/tricia
To all of you- your constant support over the past months has been
amazing. I can’t begin to tell you how much you have all touched me.
Your support after my Mom’s death has been especially warming. I
have that thread printed for posterity- a true glimpse of a community
in action.
What kind of world do I want? A world where breast cancer is a thing
of the past. A world where men and women have choices about their
healthcare. A world that encourages living much more than it
encourages dying. I want a world where choices are made by
empowered individuals. I want MY world. I’m walking another 60
miles to get there.
Please change your avatar to a pink ribbon (if you haven’t already) and
walk with me to the world YOU want. Together, we CAN make a
difference!
