I’ve installed the autosave option in Excel 2000 and enabled it (the check box is checked on the Tools drop-down menu). In the autosave options, the “prompt before saving” box is not checked. I think my autosave options are not be retained. Each time I restart Excel, the “prompt before saving” box is checked again and the “time to automatically save” has reverted to 10 minutes (I think this is a default). What am I doing incorrectly?
