User has problem with the data filter in Excel 2000.
The data filter counts don’t always appear in the left hand corner of the screen, i.e. 123 records of 780 etc
User wants this to consistently appear
Have tried setting up macros to do this butthe report is required weekly, multiple autofilters are used therefore the user doesn’t wish to enter the macros each time.
Have tried setting up macros to run from keyboard shortcut/toolbar button but this causes conflict due to the amount of autofilters in use.
Have tried using subtotal tool but unsuccessful
Current work around being used is to simply copy and paste one column into a new worksheet, move to the bottom of the list and the row number is then the count.
Require fix rather than work around
