I am experiencing problems with my excel spreadsheets that are using pivot tables. When I try to save the spreadsheets, I encounter either an error message saying that the file could not be saved or an access violation message. After that, the file becomes corrupted & I am unable to open the file again. This problem seems to occur only when pivot tables are used in the spreadsheet. I am running Excel 97 on Windows NT Workstation 4.0 with 256MB of RAM. I have tried increasing the virtual memory but that did not work. Any help is greatly appreciated.
