I was 90% done with a slick (for me) little Excel workbook, decided to make the UI a little nicer by building a custom toolbar w/ some of my key features on it. I was just about finished, then when trying to change a button got an illegal op, then when I re-opened the toolbar had reverted to a much earlier revision, and now I can’t even open it without getting an illegal op. Moreover, when I copy a backed-up version of the workbook and try to re-open from my machine, IT gets an illegal op and won’t open.
1. I know from a KB search that the old toolbar version has to do with not re-attaching the toolbar after revision. Ok.
2. The older version of this file does open on another machine. How do I clean up my machine?
3. Any chance of saving the newer version?
