Excel cell border not showing

I have an excel spreadsheet on a network drive. When I look at it, It looks fine. When the recep. looks at it, it is missing some cell borders. I re-installed excel - n/g. I uninstalled and reinstalled - n/g. Why is this happening? Is it fried?

Are you both connected to the same printer?
Like Word, Excel is "printer-centric"

We can access the same printer through our peer to peer network.

The Tools, Preferences settings are individual to each machine. Have you checked the "View" tab to make sure "Window Options, Gridlines" is checked on the receptionist's machine?

Yes that is checked. I can see 50% of the gridlines but the rest have intermittantly disappeared.

Thanks for any other thoughts...
