Excel does not print

We recently upgraded our laptops to Dell C-600 (from Dell CPi), in addition to upgrading Win95 to XP Professional & Office97 to OfficeXP. We have a user who can no longer print to their direct connect HP IIP printer, while in Excel. Outlook, Word & other personal programs can print to the direct connect printer without problems. The user CAN however print from Excel to any of our network printers. I have replaced printer drivers & their printer to another model.
Any suggestions????
