Having troubles with excel files turning to read-only after working with them for long periods of time. I am working on a Win2K Pro workstation with the excel files on a Win2K Server. After working with the file for a period of time, I click the save button and it returns a box stating ‘Document saved. Can not reopne document’. I have found that I don’t get this error if I work on the file from a local drive. Seems isolated to a network drive. Any thoughts at were on the network side I should begin looking?
