I am running Excel 2000 on my windows 98 SE with 64MB of RAM and 350MHZ processor . There are times when Excel files take a considerable amount of time to open and at times causes my system to freeze. These files reside on my network. This did not used to happen, but lately is happening on different machines with equal RAM or higher processor speed. I checked Server Task Manager to see how much memory is being consummed by processes, but memory and processor use seems find. Please Help!
