Hi
Have a client, who for years has been opening Word and Excel (Office 2003)just by clicking on the file name in a shared drive. For the last few weeks it has been taken up to a minute to open the file(s). The same file(s) moved to a local drive take the same time to open.
Using File/Open from within Word/Excel and they open immediately!
A user with Office 2007 has no problems.
They have XP SP2 and Office 2003 SP3.
Anyone, any idea what could be causing this?
