A couple of days ago I had submitted a question about headers in excel files not retaining any changes but always reverting back to old file state. The situation has gotten to be much more worse than the headers. I now have users complaining that any changes that are made to excel files are not being retained the files are going back to their origonal state. The files will go back to their previous state when ever the user will shut down excel,open other programs or simply shut down their computer for the evening and return in the morning. I thought it was our server and so I performed some maintanance on the server and I even ran a virus check and no viruses where found. The problem will occur intermitantly. I even checked to see what other programs are running while they have excel running. It simply does not matter if they have many, few or no other programs running this anomalie occurs at randum. Again any change to the file will not be remembered on a permanent basis. Ifany one has an answer I certainly would appreciate your help.
