Have a user with Excel 97 using NT 4.0 on a Novell network (3.12) and all of a sudden he’s gotten the message whenever he saves in excel, “Document saved sucessfully. Cannot reopen the saved document due to low memory. Please close the document.”I’ve looked on Microsoft’s site and found this message, but they speak of Win 95 only, not NT and the 95 fix does not apply. I’ve done this:
1) Reinstalled excel
2) Replaced memory
3) Increased virtual memory
4) Made another user on server withsame rights and tried to save there-won’t work.
Other users are fine. He can save to his hard drive and to a different server. I can bring up his document on my pc and save to his server fine. I’ve checked his permissions and they are all set correctly. Even deleted them and put them back. He can save fine in word to the same directory. Anyone know what’s missing here?
