Excel Sheet built-in in Word

I need some documents to draw tables. I know what Word can do this, but Excel is better!

I put Excel sheet into Word document. After some manipulations Word and Excel have a crash

All my data going down...
Sometimes Word converts Excel sheet to image (!!!).

PLZ, HELP!!!

Depending on your version, Word can create great tables. The reason to use Excel, would be for computation. Rather than pasting Excel sheets in Word, use the Insert Microsoft Excel Worksheet button on the Standard tool bar, or use Insert>Object Microsoft Excel Worksheet. When you click on the document the shhet will look like a table, and when you double click the table you can edit it in Excel.

I have Windows XP SP1 and Office XP SP1
