Excel Text Search usign Formulas

I have a sheet that has several coloumns, and the same entry can be on more than one column, and I’m trying to create a sheet that will pull out which rows have the specified string of text regardless of which column they are located in. Some columns have the string at the beginning of the text, while others have it in the middle. I tried to use the following formula to find it, but I am having difficulties getting it to search for the text in the multiple columns. Also, the cells that do not have the string are giving me an error message. Can anyone help?
SEARCH($E$1,Mon!C7,1)
