Hello, I have seen a similar question about this, but it differed from my problem in that other hyperlinks addressed are to linked files elsewhere on the computer.
I have an Excel spreadsheet with television shows and airing times that is linked to the Wikipedia description to those programs..
The hyperlinks worked fine as recently as two days ago. Now they no longer work.
– The entries are still blue and underlined, and the pointer becomes a finger if I hover over it
– If I hover over the entry a window appears with the link address
– Right-clicking Edit Hyperlink on the entry shows the correct hyperlink still there
– If I delete the hyperlink and try to recreate it, it still won’t open the page when I click on it
– If I make another entry with another hyperlink to another site, it still won’t work
– Creating a new Excel sheet with a new entry and hyperlink also doesn’t work
So, any suggestions?
I have Windows 8.1 and Office Professional Plus 2010
