Exchange 2000 does not start

I just installed exchange 2000 on my win 2k server. but the exchange services wont start.
when i go to exchange system maneger under servers and click on first storage group it tells me that its not availabe and then when i click ok there is a red dot on mail box store and public folder store uunder first storage group.
and when i look in services in win 2k server non of the exchange service have started except “routing engine” and then when i try to start them i get an error (1068) And they wont start excpet the exchange A.D. connector and then even that wont stay on.
so there is somthing wrong big time in my server
please help me out .. i have to get this going soon
