I recently upgraded my Exchange 2000 server to service pack 1 thinking it would fix a few minor problems with my exchange system. After the install, my Exchange Information Store will not start now. The service manager gives me the error: “Error: The service has terminated unexpectedly” and the event viewer gives me an event ID of 7031. Neither error messages are searchable in the Microsoft Knowledge Base, I can not uninstall the sevice pack and I have no email. Please help.
