On the Windows 2000 operating system, how is Exchange 2000 replicated to a second W2K server, so that in the event one goes down, the other can pick up the work. (public and private stores, mailboxes, etc. etc. need to be replicated.)
This is for a small business that has one server configured with both Windows 2000 and Exchange 2000. The second server would be purely for redundancy, in case of disaster. It would also be configured with W2K and E2K. (I set it up as an additional domain controller in the same domain)
The question is, where can I find information that would explain the configuration procedures.
p.s. there is nothing at Microsoft’s website, nor on TechNet about this. All they talk about is replicating Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2000.
