Exchange 2003 Certificates

by hornetster . Updated 18 years, 10 months ago

Morning, have just taken on responsibility of an existing Exchange 2003/AD domain. I have run the Microsoft Exchange Server Best Practices Analyzer Tool, and the main concern would appear to be: “Certificate has Expired”. I am trying to work out whether this is an internally supplied certificate (ie I can generate/renew myself) or a certificate that I need to source/pay for from a 3rd party….? All it tells me is “The SSL certicate for ‘https://xxxx.xxx.xx’ expired on 15/02/2006. Users may be unable to connect with the server”. Have done lots of googling, but everything I found was very specific… Help please!!???
