I just set up a new Domain on a new W2k3 standard server running DNS, DHCP. Set up another new W2k3 server with Exchange 2003 and performed all the checklist setup steps. Setup says it was successful.
When I add a new user to the domain, the wizard says it will set up a POP3 mailbox among all the other regular stuff. It does not mention an Exchange mailbox. when the user setup is completed manually, there are no Exchange Tabs on the user properties.
I am clueless as to why. I’ve never had this problem before. NETDIAG and the other tools report all ok.
Your input would be appreciated.
