Exchange 2007 issue

By szymas ·
We have 2 to 3 people in our office that cannot receive incoming emails to either their OWA or Outlook 2007 clients. The Exchange server show the messages as received... and then an error gets produced..

Message tracking is showing that it was received.
Then within a minute a second message appears showing the following:
FAIL STOREDRIVER 550 5.2.0 STOREDRV.Deliver: The Microsoft Exchange Information Store service reported an error. The following information should help identify the cause of this error: "MapiExceptionJetErrorReadVerifyFailure:16.18969:F70D0000, 17.27161:000000005A020000000000000F00000000000000, 255.23226:00000000, 255.27962:0A000000, 255.27962:0E000000, 255.27962:0A000000, 255.27962:94000000, 255.17082:06FCFFFF, 0.27745:00000000, 4.21921:06FCFFFF, 255.27962:FA000000, 255.1494:2C000000, 255.1238:2F400000, 0.36537:0F010480, 4.5587:0F010480, 0.65193:0F010480, 0.31004:0F010480, 0.39497:0F010480, 4.55881:0F010480, 0.27676:0F010480, 0.23580:0F010480, 0.16668:0F010480, 0.27420:0F010480, 0.39497:0F010480, 4.55881:0F010480, 0.27676:0F010480, 0.23580:0F010480, 0.36537:0F010480, 4.5587:0F010480, 0.65193:0F010480, 6.21970:0F01048003002F0E0F010480, 6.21970:0F0104800300230E0F010480, 4.13236:06FCFFFF, 4.4097:06FCFFFF, 4.5093:06FCFFFF, 4.5318:06FCFFFF, 4.10104:06FCFFFF, 0.21097:0F010480, 4.8756:BFF9FFFF, 4.4353:BFF9FFFF, 4.5257:BFF9FFFF, 4.4606:06FCFFFF, 255.1750:06FCFFFF, 0.26849:06FCFFFF, 255.21817:06FCFFFF".

FYI: last week a single drive on our raid 5 crapped out, was hot fixed and back online (Dell poweredge 2950) all partitions show normal and consistency checks also are normal.

Any clues into what to do? I do have backups.. but I am wondering if their mailboxes are corrupt?

It is JUST their INBOXES, i see email making it to their other folders (like Junk and user-created folders fine)

Any help would be great!

Repost as 'Q&A'

by HAL 9000 Moderator In reply to Exchange 2007 issue

Try reposting this in the 'Q&A' forum. The 'Discussion' forum is for matters of general discussion, not specific problems in search of a solution. The 'Water Cooler' is for non-technical discussions. You can submit a question to 'Q&A' here:

http://www.techrepublic.com/forum/questions/post?tag=mantle_skin;content

There are TR members who specifically seek out problems in need of a solution. Although there is some overlap between the forums, you'll find more of those members in 'Q&A' than in 'Discussions' or 'Water Cooler'.

Be sure to use the voting buttons to provide your feedback. Voting a '+' does not necessarily mean that a given response contained the complete solution to your problem, but that it served to guide you toward it. This is intended to serve as an aid to those who may in the future have a problem similar to yours. If they have a ready source of reference available, perhaps won't need to repeat questions previously asked and answered. If a post did contain the solution to your problem, you can also close the question by marking the helpful post as "The Answer". .
