I tried to install service pack 4 over sp2 when asked if i wanted to stop services I said no, this halted sp4 and turned off all services when i try to start the directory service i recieve message cannot access “?HrRegisterProtocol@@YGJPAVPROTO@@FJJJKHPAXKK@Z” I have replaced the netif.dll to no effect restore from back up to no effect. have searched technet and other documents to no avail i would not want to reinstall as this looks like more trouble. i now have no e-mail avalible to this orgainization.
