EXCHANGE 5.5

HELP
I HAVE MESSAGES STUCK IN MY MTA QUEUE FROM ONE SITE THAT ARE NOT BEING DELIVERED TO ANOTHER. ANY IDEAS AS TO HOW I CAN FORCE DELIVERY. I HAVE RESTARTED MY EXCHANGE SERVER, AND ALSO STOPPED AND STARTED THE MTA SERVICE ON THE SERVER.

set exchange to write all information in the log file and take a look for which error it give you. Is it a new installation?

You can flush the queues by following this procedure:

Open exchange admin
Open configration container
Connections
Internet Mail Service properties
Connections tab
in the Transfer Mode pane, select the last option (None, flush queues)

Stopand Start your Exchange IMS

Monitor your MTA queues (using your performance monitor), and when they're flushed you may undo the changes you have made here today and restart your IMS again.
