The objective
Is to have users get email via pop3 access.
The Problem
It only works if the mailbox is located on mail1 (server)and it does not have the capacity to have all the required pop3 users from all 4 sites located locally.
The setup4 x Exchange 5.5 sp3 running on NT4 sp6a
Mail1 is the server that actually has the internet connector, mail2,3,4 are connected sites to this server.
Notes
if they are local mailboxes then it works as expected.
the mail1 server users a seperateMS Proxy2 box for connectivity to the net.
