Exchange 5.5 Disclaimer formatting issue

By ACGPHX ·
I have successfully created a disclaimer that attaches to all outbound exhange mail using the BORK utility IMSEXT.DLL and some registry editing. All is good for the addition of the disclaimer but the formatting leaves something to be desired. I needto find a way to add 2-3 spaces before the disclaimer to separate it from the body of the outbound e-mail. Rather than hit or miss with the formatting I'm hoping to cut to the quick in here.

Exchange 5.5 Disclaimer formatting issue

Have you tried RTF commands?

A backslash (\) signals the start of a formatting string and a space signals the end. You must include a single-space between the RTF string and the text that it's controlling.

Here are some commonly used RTF commands that will allow you to do formatting...

Command Result
\b Bold on
\b0 Bold off
\i Italics on
\i0 Italics off
\ul Underline on
\ul0 Underline off
\plain Plaintext--all formatting off
\par New line or new paragraph
\tab Tab in 5 spaces

Hope this helps,
Howard H.
