Exchange 5.5 OWA and ISA Server 2000

by eporteni . Updated 23 years, 7 months ago

I have just taken over a site that is running Exchange 5.5 as their email server, and they have ISA 2000 configured as their proxy/firewall server. Two different machines located in a group of 6 seperate servers. What the problem is is this: they donot have the Outlook Web Client set up for external access to email. I have looked at the Exchange server, and everything looks like it is set up properly (at least, from what the online documentation has told me it should look like). The ISA Serverhas a “mail server security wizard” for appearantly setting up a mail server to be accessed through the firewall… does this work for Exchange? I have read that the exchange web client should also be installed on a separate server from the Exchangeserver… should I install it on the ISA server, or don’t I need to bother with this step? Any help would be appreciated – Documentation, links, etc.
Thanks in advance….
