Exchange 5.5 pub.edb on another server

Hello all,

I know its not the ideal way to do it but…

Anyway I have a new Exchange server which is being built and is on a seperate network, I have had no problems getting the Priv.edb database to extract by using ExMerge, but could someone kindly walk me through how to use the Pub.edb please.

I know it can be done as I did it before, about 2 years ago, I remember getting the info from you guys, but can’t remember where, and I can’t find it again.

Original server is NT4 and new server is W2K Server.

I have copied the Pub.edb and Dir.edb from the original server and I know I can’t just dump them over the top of the existing ones, it has something to do with deleting *.log files and running a utility.
