Platform: Recovery Server
Process: Restore of IS/DS
Problem: Information Store will not start after restore
Steps: Installed NT 4.0 as BDC on Network
Applied SP 6a
Disconnected from network
Renamed PC (Same as Production Server )
Promoted to PDC
Installed Exchange Server 5.5
Created a new site
Named the site the same as the production server
Applied SP3
Restored from online backup
Changed all the Service account passwords to match the backup
All services start except the event service and the IS
Can anyone help………….
