Exchange mail delay problem and File coruption

by kgenlloud . Updated 18 years, 4 months ago

Hi

Im using exchange 2003

Last friday the 10th of the 5th our outgoing mail started being belayed. Sometimes it takes days to reach cliants.

I’ve cheched and I am pretty sure its not a virus. The reason I checked if it was a virus is because PDF, Word and power point documents incomming are also being corrupted and are becomming smaller then befor they were sent. This may be a totaly different problem though

There is sufficant space on the surver’s data base. The event log has no errors

I called microsoft and apparently there has been a problem with microsoft updates. I was told that there update assumes that when you set up your exchange surver you installed all the files to the same directory. We put the databace in its own directory and the updates changed my log files to what they would be if you did a defalt installation.

Fixing the log still hasn’t solved my problem completely. The delay was solved but not the file coruption problem.

Do you have any ideas?

Thanks
