Exchange message late delivery

Hello,

I have an Exchange Server 5.5 with SP4. This problems was experienced with my Exchange 5.0 version, too and still I can find a solution.

Today we received a message from a hotmail user. The message was received by our Exchange in 5 of June 2001.

Any ideas what might have caused the message to remain in queue for so long time?

Yesterday our Exchange crashed and probably some of the deferred messages flags were RESET.

Any ideas?
