We need to migrate 650 Exchange users on multiple Exchange 2003 Servers in one organization to an Exchange 2003 Server in another Organization. These servers are on seperate domains and there is no possibility of a trust or direct connection between the two Exchange organizations.
There is about 600 GB of mailboxes (the largest mailbox is 5 GB).
We need to do the transition of four main Offices over a period of about six weeks. Each Office will transition over successive weekends. The largest Office has about 200 GB of mailboxes.
Due to the time for any export it will be necessary to do the mailbox migration in two steps. Take an initial export a few weeks before an Office is transitioned and then take a ?differential? export on the weekend of the transition.
We were considering using ExMerge to do the export of the mailboxes but given the size of the mailboxes we were sure how long exmerge would take to export the mailbox data to pst, so that we could then import it to the new database.
Any suggestions?
