Exchange not Auto Replying to Inet Addre

Running Exchange 5.5 with SP . When a server based rule is created, it does not auto reply to the Internet, however, it does reply to internal addreses.

Auto replies to the Internet is not disabled.

Has anyone had experience with this issue?
Please help if you can.

You have loaded the proper connector for SP? I know this is a silly question but if it's not loaded the server will see the intranet but not the internet. Can you ping out side of your network? Did you try nbtstat utility to see if each workstation can fully see the server?
