exchange /outlook cant start junk mail

I have exchange 5.5, outlook 2002 sp3, I have one client that the junk mail feature will not let me set it up to delete automatically or set up rules. I get a message saying “one or more rules could not be uploaded to exchange server and have been deactivated.This could be because some of the parameters are not supported or there is insufficient space to store all of your rule. Now on this same pc I set up an email accout for myselft and was able to enable this. The other users email account is no where near the set limit. She has also access her email/nt account from another pc on the WAN.

I suggest having a look at http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=886616
If that doesn’t work I would delete the outlook.ost file from the users profile and create a new one from the server. Failing that, if it’s not going to give you too much of a headache, I would give the user a new profile.

Did you Export and Import your accounts using ExMerge? If so, now there could be some problems with the permission of the user accounts. If you check the permissions and provide appropriate permissions, you will be able to delete the rules.
