Exchange Relay Servers

By jasonr ·
I have an exchange server which is behind a firewall. We have dynamically assigned IP addresses and have low usage of the link for outgoing mail.

Due to the fact we are a dynamic server i have been experiencing problems relating to blacklisted ips...

Is there any way around this problem other than getting a fixed IP?

I was thinking that there may be a company which relays other companies mail.

Unfortunately my ISP does not support this and will not allow it for some reasons unknown to me.

Exchange Relay Servers

HI
At first is it Exch. 5.5 or 2000?
I assume your provider does not support MAIL RELAY because of junk MAIL.
Why don't you use a SMTP server to forward your E-MAILS to your provider. In 5.5 you need an Internet MAIL connector, in 2000 its calledSMTP connector. This is a solution for sending MAILS. Let me know more details.
