exchange repair to PST – outlook views emails as contacts

following a corrupted rather large info store (12.8GB), an exchange repair’s been done and the PSTs exported for all 20 users.. (i took over this network in a bad shape..!).

I’ve run the scanpst.exe file on each pst, however outlook 2k3 and outlook xp seem to be viewing a number of the emails as contacts.

anyone seen this problem before?
