exchange server

We have recently moved our server to win2k server from NT4.0
Our domain name is our company_site
What we would like to do is move some folders named public folders from Exchange server on the old NT server to our new 2000 server.
We have tried using exmerge but get error messages when tryin to intsall exmerge itself. Is there any way we can get these folders and their content from one system to another?

Any help much appreciated

An alternate way would be to export the contents of the public folders through Outlook to a .pst file and then import them back into the new system. To do this, all you need is to open Outlook and log onto a mailbox on the old server that has ownerrights to all of the old public folders (i.e., the Administrator mailbox). Then export the contents of the public folders to a .pst file (or files). Then, go to a workstation on the new system, open Outlook, create your new Exchange public folders and import the contents into them. Hope this helps!

Which versions out Exchange are you running on each server? v5.5 or 2000? Or are you running both in a mixed-mode configuration? Please advise, I just went through a length 5.5 to 2000 migration successfully without 1 incident.
