exchange server 5.5--routing non-local m
We have Exchange Server 5.5 (small bus. server version). I send it an SMTP mail stream containing mail local to our domain, and also "external" mail. I'd like the local mail to be distributed to local users by Exchange Server (and it does this fine), and i'd like the external mail to be directly sent out to the internet (but it doesn't do this).
does anyone know how to configure this?
the frustrating thing is that i had this working properly, but 3 weeks ago exchange server crashed, and Microsoft had us reinstall it. Now, they can't figure out how to do it! but i know it can be done.
thanks for any help!
