I recently attempted to install exchange server 2000 on a dell server. At the messaging and collaboration section, the file store.exe wouldn’t execute. The server sat there for a moment and then skipped over the entire messaging and collaboration part and the install completed, but it isn’t installed correctly at all. I can’t uninstall it and I cannot delete mailboxes. ( I created them before I realized that setup had failed) All I want to do is remove the program safely and re-install, or at least figure out why it stalled in the first place. I have been researching this problem for a week. I’ve tried doing a re-install, but the same scenario repeated itself.
