I am attempting to apply SP3 to my install of Exchange 5.5 and the service pack is failing with the error:

I found the article Q251181 in MS’ Knowledge Base that realtes to this exact error but the resolution does not work for me. I had this same problem the last time I applied SP3 and ended up reinstalling Exchange from scratch. I would rather not do this again but now my service pack install is incomplete and I am afraid to leave it in this state for long. Any suggestions? Thanks!
