Exchange streaming file

Hi
I have a exchange 2000 server with Norton Corporate 7.6 installed on it. I got hit with a virus and norton qurantined an inportant streaming file, so now my store group will not mount so all my users can’t get email now. First what is a streaming file? and where can I copy one or restore it. Second how can I prevent this from happening again?
