Exchange with POP3

I am fairly new to the Exchnage 2003 arena. I am looking for some guidance to see if POP3 email will work successfully with Exchange and all of it’s features, including calendar sharing.

Any feedback or specific web site links for this would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks in advance!
