Exchange woes

By simon ·
I have just had to re-install Exchange 5.5, I managed to get the Public folders back in use but didn't bother with Private (not me decision).

The Public folders work fine in Outlook but I am unable to select the properties of each in Exchange Admin, if I try to it says "The Object cannot be found in the directory. This may be because replication has not complete" ID no c1010aae"

However if I access a folder that has been created since the re-installation it works fine.

Does anyone have any ideas how I can get in to the properties without re-creating them?

Thank you.

You have inconsistencies between the IS and DS.

May need to run the Consistency Adjuster found in the Server Properties.

Good luck

Spot on thank you very much, out of interest Microsoft suggested I re-install the latest service pack!!

But I ran the Consistency Adjuster and it all works fine now.

Thank you again
