Exchange woes

I have just had to re-install Exchange 5.5, I managed to get the Public folders back in use but didn’t bother with Private (not me decision).

The Public folders work fine in Outlook but I am unable to select the properties of each in Exchange Admin, if I try to it says “The Object cannot be found in the directory. This may be because replication has not complete” ID no c1010aae”

However if I access a folder that has been created since the re-installation it works fine.

Does anyone have any ideas how I can get in to the properties without re-creating them?
